Community Outreach and Service
AL-ANON/ALATEEN
The best place to learn how Al-Anon/Alateen works is at a meeting in your local community. Personal contact is an important element in the healing process. In Al-Anon/Alateen, members do not give direction or advice to other members. Instead, they share their personal experiences and stories, and invite other members to “take what they like and leave the rest”—that is, to determine for themselves what lesson they could apply to their own lives. SJA offers a meeting site for Al-Anon/Alateen.
Meeting: Fridays at 7:30pm, parish office, room 101

That’s why we’re here. You may have questions, and may even want to resolve some past hurts before you can feel free to enter into a relationship with Jesus or His Church again. You are not alone because SJA parish family is here to support your journey. Consider this a sign, and your invitation to rediscover the truth, wonder and mystery of the Catholic faith. We are a family. Welcome home! Contact the parish office for more information at 503-742-8200 [email protected].

Every Christmas there are families in need and here at SJA we do our best to help where and when we can. We have a giving tree in the back of the Church with tags on it for specific gifts.
